I pulled my intake to swap to an x-cellerator, and found my intake gaskets were totally messed up. One of the ports were half blocked, and 3 were open to the intake valley. I asked about a major smoke problem on decelleration last summer, and just assumed it was rings or valve seals. So, dont assume things are due to major damage all the time, I am glad i found this. I had the intake installed by the engine builder, so even the pros make mistakes.

Thanks for the up date. Did you address this with the engine builder?
