hello. like it says in my sig. i have an edelbrock 1406 600cfm electric choke carb. i have never tuned it or anything and i want to get some tips and info.
the carb book is too confusing. i have a 60 dollar high volume electric fuel pump with a 1/2 inch fuel line.( it's huge). i know it runs rich sometimes when hot because of the black smoke when revved and startup. what kind of metering rods and jets would be the best for texas weather. i want to set my secondaries and everything. when i stomp the gas in either a lower gear or when i drop a gear it pauses and then goes. the edelbrock book says not to go over 6.5 psi. i don't know my pressure yet because i have no pressure gauge but i am sure i am over that. it said get a regulator and set it at 5.5. anyway any tips and info. how about any sites.
