i just picked this up earlier in the week and love it. its a 84 635CSI, and for you folks that say "Ben they made the 633CSI in 84", that is true but its a gray market car . it currently has a 3.07 rear end that will get swapped out for a 3.73 on tuesday as well as adding a short throw shifter with a weighted shift knob. the car is an absolute dream on the highway and in very good shape with the exception being a little rust around the wheelwells. all in all for $1700 you can't go wrong. high points are genuine BBS wheels, recaro seats, momo steering wheel, and bosh motronic V1.0 engine management.

cool, I dig it. I saw a 8xx 2door of some kind at a gas station last week (at least that is what I thougth it had on the deck lid) that was just killer looking. Some of the older 80's early 90's bmw's look like and are just not aging well in the style dept.

i would love to have an 850CSI, but they are huge money pits.

my wife and i are now discussing buyin an E34 M5.

i agree that the looks of some of them are questionable--but that is a BMW trademark.
