I put an o/r pipe on my 02 GT, been driving with the check engine light on for two weeks. (i did install splice in mills profesionally but it only worked for like 15 minutes) Anyway, ive noticed this three times already: Start the car, as soon as i drive off i get HORRIBLE throttle response, i literally step on it all the way and it won't move, it just starts stuttering like it's going to die.... after about ten seconds of that it finally goes... its pretty scary though b/c i life in front of a major highway and theres a bunch of cars coming sometimes, then the stang wont budge. But whats the deal here? Am i running rich or something?

P.S. for the longest time ive experienced hard starts every now and then. Ford said it was the starter and replaced it but that didnt do jack. On ocasion it will take about 3-4 seconds to start..... are these two things related? What can i do about this? Its pretty embarassing to have all this crap happening on a new car.

you should have bought the mil eliminators that you just plug in . I have them and they work like a charm. As for the car running bad it may be caused by the bad mils. Your computer does not know what the heck is going on. Take care of the check engine light and if it still runs bad then look elsewhere. Try to disconnect the battery for a little bit then reconnect it that will reset the computer.

Have your codes read to make sure nothing else is going on.

Go to auto zone and have them run your computer for free. If you dont' like that idea you can by the same computer at Pep Boys for $100 dollars.
