It's just about time to change my plugs again. I have the "cheapy" $1.99 NGK spark plugs that seem to be durable with no problems. Are there any noticeable advantages to using a "premium" plug?

I saw review on E3 spark plugs and they seem to be negative for the most part.

Anyone have any recommendations for a pretty much stock motor Mustang GT 2V?

You can't go wrong with Motorcraft SP493.

All the cars we tune and work on we put in NGK V Power. If i remember its a TR55 for boosted/NOS, and a TR6 N/A. Its hard to change from something i know works well.

I put the motorcraft stockers back in our 01 when it was time for a plug change. Car was bone stock at the time, now its just a little less than stock.

I run the NGK V's from Americanmuscle. Great price and quality product.

I have always went with Motorcraft copper plugs in my Modular engines. (That is what is currently in the '02 GT.) Who changes their plugs in more than 20,000 mile intervals anyway?

Just go with the stock Motorcraft plugs, I recently pulled my Bosch platinum plugs out and put the Motos in because the car didnt like the Bosch ones...

You can get Autolite Coppers from Pep Boys for $1.80-ish per plug. I'm on my 3rd set of them and haven't had a problem. I change them in 25,000 mile intervals.

Copper = hottest spark.

Just go with the Motorcraft plugs your car calls for. Don't worry about them for another 100k miles. Just think of all the possible plugs shooting out and ripping threads out of heads when you are constantly taking them in and out.

Ford recommends 100,000 mile intervals and you will never go wrong with motocraft on a stock vehicle.

Going to keep an eye on this one for future reference. However in my past experiences the manufacture recommended is usually the best for stock vehicles.
