I am going to be putting some new spark plug wires on my car and I wanted to see what you guys think is better. I am between 2 sets the ford racing 9mm set and the taylor thundervolt set. Here is a link to each.

Ford Racing: http://store.summitracing.com/partd...&part=FMS-M-12259-C301&N=700+115&autoview=sku

Taylor: http://store.summitracing.com/partd...924930+4294840126+4294864973+115&autoview=sku

Try to stay away from the Ford Racing wires. I went through 2 sets because the boots started to dry out and crack real bad after about 1 year. Moroso is also the same way. Right now I am using the MSD wires and they have been the best set by far. After 3 years the boots are as soft and pliable as the day I bought them.

Sorry, I know that wasn't one of your choices.

Never tried the Taylor. I always ran with the Ford Racing. Even after the Supercharger install and Dyno tune, shop said wires were in A+ shape. So I kept them.

I have had the 8.8 Accel wires on my car for about 5 years now with no cracking discoloration or dry rot of any kind.

Ew, Accel wires are the worste. Not only do they break easile on the spark plug end when trying to pull them off the plugs, they are yellow!!

I prefer FMS or Taylor wires. I have a thing against MSD. I'll never buy another one of they products after 3 out of 4 of their parts I had on my Mustang failed within 1500km.

8.8 race wires from accel are black. I like that part that you can get them in a nonassembled kit so you can make them the length you want the premade stuff allways seems to be alittle short.

Use the FMS wires, good quality fair price.
I've had issues with the taylor wires when removing them, the insides love to stay on the plugs when the boots come off.

I like my Ford Racing 9mm blue wires. They look good under the hood and are priced good.

It's dirty, but mostly original.
