I run Autolite 764's gapped at .054" for my N/A application and haven't had a bit of problems with them...I have the platinums now but I'll be switching to some coppers next time I change them...

I have Bosch Platinum +4 in my 1996 Cobra and they work just fine.

I have Denso Iridiums (sp?) & they offered no real improvement over the OE Motorcraft platinums in my stock '97.

Ran the Bosch Platinum Plus 4s for about 2 years with no problems great plug!

About 3000 miles ago I switched to Motorcrafts Copper and the car did not like them at all. Missfired at the top end, gas millage suffered and ran like a$$. I switched right back to the Plus 4s and the car ran great!

Now, about 500 miles ago, I switched to DENSO Iridium (T16) and the car LOVE them RPMs are very smooth and idles is very nice as well. Great improvement. The only draw back is that they are very expensive!

I use the Champion Platinum Plus ($1.39) after trying almost everything else.

Without a hot ignition anything more is just a waste of money. Just gap to the max. tolerance (.056?).
