I replaced my spark plugs yesturday and noticed that the ends (part that sparks) are all very white. Can anyone tell me what this means? All mods are in my sig.
(reasons for white insulators ---engine overheating,wrong type of fuel,loose spark plugs,too hot of plug,low fuel pressure or incorrect ignition timing)...white insulator cause could be your timing set at *14. also what type and part number plug do you run.what grade of gas do you use....
Try going to the next cooler heat range. Run them for a month and see how they look. If they still seem kind of white, go one less heat range. If they still look white, it's time to actually address the problem. You are probably lean sicne that's what our cars are known for.
