does anyone have or had or heard anything about Spec clutches? i havent heard of them.

yep. you hear bad things about all clutches (i think a lot of it is people not breaking them in right), but Spec is as good as any, IMHO. it will be what i go with.

SPEC is a very good company, I have a SPEC II in my car and if it wasent ruined before it was ever put in then I know it would be an awesome clutch ( not specs fault we friged the clutch up, well my friend did ) My friend also has a SPEC III and likes it alot.

I put a SPEC I clutch in last month. I have roughly 200 miles on it and it has performed flawless. I still need to put another 300 miles on it before the break-in period is over.

i have a spec II on mine since last fall and i like it a ton. never really used any other clutch and some people say its pretty hard to push down but im used to it and call my pansies

I have a stage 1, and I like it fine. But they are known to hit trannies pretty hard, so I'm going to change to a king cobra when I get my new tranny.

spec stage 2 for over 2 years. no complaints.
