Anybody have any experience with the Spectre Air Intake Kits? I live in California (Yeah, I know) and this kit is the only one I see as CARB compliant for the 2002 Mustang GT.

The K&N FIPK is CARB legal, and I'm pretty sure the C&L intake is too. I've never heard of Spectre (outside of James Bond movies anyway ).

I like the K&N FIPK as it's plastic (which doesn't retain heat very well) and the fit is excellent.

I might be looking to sell my k&n FIPK. I do like it, but it doesn't fit under my strut tower brace. I'm using the stock intake tube with the fipk shield and filter right now. The other day my intake temp was reading 120* sitting at a light so I want to get a cold air intake and see if I can get it down.

I'm in the same boat as my STB and K&N CAI don't fit together, but I've opted to keep the CAI and remove the STB. Anyone in the Tampa Bay area interested in the STB? It's off of my 04 Mach 1, so I'm assuming it'll fit 99-04, but I'm not 100% sure. The price is right.
