Speed density/E-303?

I'm sure it's been talked about,but will it work without problems?

Chances are no. Some say nope never not a chance but tell that to this guy:

YouTube - 5.0L Truck EFI. Big cam on Speed density.

You'll probably need a tune for it but there are SD cams out there too, or you could just go MAF and call it a day.

nope didnt work with me at all, i tried it right before i converted to mass air.

NO! You can do heads and intake, exhaust but you can't change cams with speed density.

I got to differ with you there. There are many cams that you can use while staying speed density, you just have to be careful in selection as SD relies heavily on vacuum. Crower 15511 is a good SD cam.

It will depend on the setup as a whole.... as shown at YouTube - SD '88 306 Idle

While there are cams that will work with speed density, why bother, the stock cam is pretty stout.

TMoss on this forum makes something like 280hp to the rear wheels with SD. I think he's got a stock cam advanced four degrees.

PM him, I'm sure hell steer you to a solid setup.
