does anyone kno the reject size on the spindles for a 65 coupe equiped with the 289 3spd combo? is there any other way to tell if my spindles are good, other than testing the bearing surfaces? thanks

I'm not real sure what you mean, but as long as the bearing surfaces aren't chewed up so the bearing has slop side to side on them they should be useable. I have seen some really scored up ones from someone running the bearings too loose but they were still useable with properbearing preload.
