aw... that was mean
anyways, i would think it would restrict the air comming in. i mean look at that think, yea i bet the air comming out the other side comes out all twisty and ****, but what the hell would that do for performance? i know the "IDEA" behind the swirl effect but have only seen it work on cylinder heads and that was just to direct air toward the middle of the cylinder where it would be best used... but THIS.. the air still has to go through a lot before it goes even into the lower manifold.. i guess it would be better if it could dirrect air into each port on the manifold evenly.. but even then... please dont get it. a grill delete or chin spoiler would add more power.

Forget the spiralmax, hook up a hair drier to your intake!!! That forces some
mad phat air into your intake, but make sure you take the heating elements
out of it first, cause we all know what heat does to HP numbers. I've got
mine hooked up to a switch, kinda like naawwwsss. If I don't want the drag
on my alt. I turn it off(need the power for my sparcomatic amp), but when
I need power, I hit the "boost" switch.

No no no! All wrong. Leave the heating element IN. The hotter air is less dense which allows for better flow and will force itself into the engine better. Also, it takes less heat for the hot air to explode and cause combustion!

Dude....

Just run some PVC next to the Pony and straight into the TB with no filter...CRAZY RAM AIR......... I say the more bits and pieces in the inlet pipe the more restriction of air = less hp. but what do I know, I'm only a rocket scientist.

i always figured the real HP gain from those types of things was from putting the stickerz on the car.
