i recently went tociko hps all the way around and hit a snag. the front struts seem to clunk more and tried replacing the stabelizer link nut that bolts mid strut.

No problem you need to get a tiny 8mm wrench IIRC to hold the bolt end and tighten the nut with the right wrench and voila` problem solved.

That did it for me when I ran into the same issue.

That piece is super annoying to get in there, but that is indeed what you have to do.

yea tell me about it. I think I threw out my arm from hurling tools and then moving on to large stones and mortar pieces...today though different story. 20 minutes later and I am done.

No problem I had to fix mine in the parking lot of Texas A&M after driving from Houston (1 1/2 hr trip) clunking all the way. All i had was the steering wheel turned all the way to the side an 8mm wrench and an adjustable wrench to work with... Not fun but doable.

To answer your question swapping out your sway bar should not alter your camber angle. It is only meant to tie the two different struts together in an effort to increase body roll resistance and minimize suspension deflection during cornering. Lowering your car will cause your camber to change (more negative).

You might consider some thread locker locktite etc once you get some torque on the 8mm bolt.
