Lets be realistic though. The only thing that made TRON cool was the effects, in a time when those kinds of effects weren't commonplace. Now you can have all the effects you want, but they lack the story and acting quality. The same can be said about the effects in the Star Wars movies, but the story has always been much better. The acting could have been better in the latest 3 movies, but I still enjoyed them. You may as well accept the "kid factor" that will no doubt be a large part of it. If they can't sell the rights to Burger King to put on their cups and make a line of cheap happy meal toys, then Disney wouldn't have bought it.
