not to start an argument, but are you refering to the black cylindrical thing that mounts to the inside of your fender, ie the starter relay? the starter solenoid technically lives in the starter

Hi,
I purchased mine 10 years ago from AMK, the OEM nuts and bolts folks. Have you used the NAPA brand?
Happy Trails!

I went to Oreilly and got a Borg-Warner....they had a 10 dollar one, then a 25 dollar heavy duty one...I sprang for the HD one...its gray and a lot thicker than the OE one, 2 years so far so good.
