Hi all, l have a 1980 Foxtail V6. The problem is that when l try to start the motor it turns over but seems to try and lock up as if it has to much lead on the ignition.
checked all the timing etc. all good. Then l removed the distributor stripped it cleaned all and found nothing except for me it has a lot of spindle moment up and down, (is there a number for how much it should be? Then went for the fiber timing gear, that's good. Has anyone had this problem?
