Some of my steering compenents are grinding on my starter when I turn them all the way left or right.

I just realized this when I was under my stang today.

Has anyone ever heard of this problem?

Between this and your rims, you got all sorts of problems.

I've never heard of steering linkage hitting the starter, seems like there would be too much stuff in the way. Maybe it's all the powdercoat

Could you have a missing steering stop somewhere? I haven't messed with my suspention enough recently to remember what limits the travel. I do know that when I added my headers, the steering linkage hit them.

Sorry I haven't helped.

man, you have NO IDEA the problems that I go through with this car. I bought it 'restored' and have had to check EVERY single NUT and BOLT since I have really taken a look at it. I wont even disclose everything that I found, and didnt find today when we dropped the trans and shifter out today!

Note: Nothing on my car is powdercoated...LOL...but all my friends cars are!!!

Whatever they are, they hit the starter, I will try to snap a pic in the next few days.

Car steered fine though the last time I drove it
