My 2002 Saleen needs a new steering wheel because the leather is dry rotted and cracked. It has cruise control on it... Will a cobra steering wheel with cruise fit as a direct replacement? What are my other option in the aftermarket? Should I just put a stock one back in?
That's what I'm going to do my OE one once my current one starts to peel. The V6 and GT ones (like your Saleen one) are just single layered leather (fake leather actually).
Although I'd highly suggest finding either a 10th Anny Cobra wheel, FR500 wheel or a OE Terminator one if you just want to swap them out, they are all double layered leather plus the FR and 10th both have the grips at 10 and 2 oclock.
