Thanks Mike.

Yea, I have been watching them for a few days. Cosmetics don't bother me much but all of those cracks though the welds do!

Marcus, is there a chance in hell of getting center caps for them if he doesn't have them?

Call Mark at PAS. He did a have a few sets. I also know a guy on ebay who you have to email to see if he has anymore. He has a lot of good stuff and has had some Stern items in the past. Here is a link to one of his auctions.

I emailee the seller and he said he lost the center caps.

But he says newer style ones fit, is this true?

I'll give the auction a few more days. Before i start bothering people for possibly finding me stuff for something i may not buy.

I could likely have each one refurbished for about $150 per rim.

They defi. would be worth it if they can be fixed. Have you ever had a tire/wheel fail or blow on the highway at speed before? Let's just say I didn't like the experience. Come to find out, the wheel that failed had more cracks ( hairline ) in it, but I don't know if the contact with the highway caused them or they were there. I sold that M5 shortly after. I freak out at the sight of cracks in wheels.

Oh yea, I don't know if the newer ones will work, but that old guy Charlie would know. I would trust him. I have purchased some really nice NOS stuff from him. He never steered me wrong. He needs someone to show him how to pack a package though.

I had one go at about 35mph, and it wasn't too bad, and it was from a crack in the rim.
I've got a guy in Cali that can do amazing things with busted up rims.

My only problems would be that i think i'm going to go to sn95 spindles up front, does that mean rims meant for a fox, will not fit anymore? I know my 90 saleen 5 stars will not fit.

Also, don't know if i'm willing to downsize from the 18's.

Well, i missed the bidding, it's been a wierd ebay week for me, first i wanted this bassani stainless catback, and somehow the bidding went to $710 when the seller said he paid $670 shipped. (and it was slightly used).
Missed the sterns.
There was a 1990 rear 5 spoke i wanted, missed it.

But good news is i got a new set of real xp8 floor matts, and the guy who makes them will reuse my old heal pad to make another (thanfully the heal pad is in the wrong place, and doesnt' get worn so it can be reused).
