I have this: http://www.fiveomotorsport.com/PartsJPEGs/Knob_Catalog.jpg shift knob from a Cobra on my car, and the plastic threads are stripped or the little plastic sleeve the threads are in is rotating. It seems like this would be a fairly common problem. Anyone have any experiences?
