Does any on know where I can purchase a stock shifter bushing for the front part of the assembly. Ford says I have to buy the whole unit. I lost one when I put my hust in and now I can't find it to switch it back for some warranty work

Thanks

how about just transfering the ones from the hurst into the stock shifter? wont cost you a penny, and should not cause any concerns.

that is what I curently have on so I can drive it but the service manager at ford say if anything is different he will void my warranty. Now I think those two bushings is no big deal does any one have any thoughts on the Idea

What are you bringing the car in for? I am curious to know why the dealer would be looking at that area close enough to notice a difference in the bushings on your otherwise stock shifter.

Have you tried calling around to placed like Roush, Saleen, Steeda? They should have a pretty good inventory of "factory take off" parts for resale or discarding.

Good luck

Why would an aftermarket shifter void your warranty ?

if ther is a transmision issue, they may blame the shifter. but, i cannot see them trying anything for a bushing.
