*I run castrol Full synthetic with a Fram oil filter (I know, fram sucks) on a stock motor. Is this a good oil choice? how long can i use it before changing the oil?
*My car has been sitting for about 10 months, i had the oil changed in January so it hasnt been run much at all. Will it be ok to take her out and romp on her a little when i get home on leave in just over 2 weeks? It hasnt been driven hardly at all, in fact the battery has been dead for about 2 months and my dad hasn't gotten around to getting it jumped . so it hasnt been started at all in a while. He should be fixing the battery within the next day or two and i will have them drive her a little. Do i have to be easy on it when i get home or can I have fun with it?

Any synthetic is a good oil. I run mobil 1 but its all a matter of choice. As far as how long to keep the oil in there that can be debated too. i change mine at 3000 even though i run snthetic. but i am anal. Most guys go maybe 5000. AS far as romping on it i would give it a few warm up and cool donw cycles before you start getting on it. Just to make sure the seals are god and seated . They can dry up a little from sitting long periods of time. But in anycase enjoy good to have you home.

What he said. I change my oil/filter at about 4000-4500 miles. After being in storage over the winter the first thing I do is gas up with premium fuel to dilute the little bit of regular fuel I leave in it and then it's oil change time.
