so i just need to complain for a second...i think when i rebuilt my motor i might have made it worse..i dont really know whats going on but its got a slight sputter sound when its running and its leaking oil now like a FAUCET so now i cant drive it and it started blowing white smoke out the rear..im just worried that it might die soon so i am going to have to park it and fid a new way around.. so this weekend i gues sif i get time i am going to be replacing my intake gaskets and my oil dipstick because i think that might be leaking but god im stressing cuz if this motor dies i can afford to replace it but oh well i don tknow what to do but thanks for listnign and hopefully i will be able to figure it out

I'm sorry budy! I really am. I was almost in that same exact position when I went away to college. Except mine dealt with MULTIPLE faulty MSD ignition systems and an oil pump shaft that dropped out of it's seat and into my oil pan! What I thought was going to be a weekend project turned into a 4 week hassle that nearly broke me..........it's F'n frustrating I spent an entire 3 day weekend in between my job and my car......FOR INSTANCE: Fri: I went to school in the morning till 5pm. Then I came home, and worked on the fastback from 6pm till 6:30am the next morning. soooo Sat: I went to work at 7:30am-4:30pm THEN went back home to work on the fastback from 6pm till 7:30am AGAIN.....sooooooo Sun. rolls around and i go back to work from 8:00am-5:00pm . THEN I go back home to continue working on the car till about 1am at which point I said FFFFF**K pretty loud and called it quits. The next morning I borrowed my roommates car to get to school. But for roughly a month I had to go through that crap. At the beginning of the project I had purchased a bundle of different collered wires (100ft each) so I coul rewire all the ignition system. By the 3rd and final MSD install I had used about 65ft. of each color and felt like an automotive electrical specialist. ........My hopes that you get it buttoned down and sealed up soon go yout to you!

From what I got in your first post, their is a lot of oil leaking and white smoke from the tail pipes. Did you install the head gaskets at all? You're getting antifreeze into the cylinder thus the white smoke. No gasket and you can be getting an oil leak. Blown gasket as well.

You may want to put this in the tech section too.
