I want to tighten up my 04 281SC vert and am considering subframe connectors. Doesn't Ford or Saleen install a simple set? Appears this way.
Any recommendations of suggestions? What is the best brand?

Thanks,

I've been under a couple hundred different mustangs, considering my friend owns a mustang only shop.
I look at everyones subs.

Only 2 sets i would buy.

First would be the set from Global West, second would be the full lenght set from Maximum motorsports.

With that said, i had always thought that subframe connections were part of the saleen suspension package.

Having experience with both of XP8's choices I prefer the Global West singles with seat supports. If you want to go extreme you can get the GW tri ladders. HeadPaneer has pics somewhere posted. Do a search.
Anyway, back in the day you could have Saleen install non full length bolt on sub frames on your Fox. I have them. Otherwise, Saleen's do not come with them.

I have a 03 vert that I am going to put on Kenny Brown Extreme Matrix System Zinc 94-04 Mustang & Cobra (KBP29550). The KB's Exteme Matrix Subframe system comes complete with 2 subframe connectors, 2 matrix braces, and 2 jacking rails.

Well I think you already made your decision by now but here is what the Tri-ladders look like installed. I highly recommend them. This is the passenger side, btw.

I still need to get a better pic of these things.

Are those welded in??

*If you're going to do subs, you've got to get them welded in! Don't fall for the simple "bolt-on" ones.

Yes, very welded. The outside square tube is welded the full length along the pinch seam of the body. The large inner round tube is welded in several places as well. The seats bolt to one of the cross braces.

I should also note that there are no ground clearance issues. They have never hit on any road obstruction.

Those are nice. Someone did some great install work. Very clean :)

I've heard that it's better to stich the welds for some reason instead of welding the full length.

Some people have taken the kenny brown extreme matrix cross braces and jacking rails and connected them to MM full length subframes.

Also, I've heard of "through the floor" subframe connectors as well but I don't know much about them.
