I have an aftermarket sunroof in my car and it will not work. It was working, but I started trying to track down my dash light problem and I think I cut the wire to the sunroof. I thought I was doing good by removing all of the previous owners wiring. I think one of the switches I unhooked and pulled out went to the sunroof! ooops. I am thinking that it goes to the ignition switch and to the sunroof. I guess it gets power from the ignition switch. I took out a tapped wire from the ignition wire. Guess thats what I get for trying to clean up an old mess!
I was wondering if anyone might have a schematic for an aftermarket sunroof. I tried google , but came up with nothing. If no schematic, maybe some one could tell me if my thinking is in line.......3 prong switch....1 getting power from ig switch ...1 going to sunroof....1 ground?
Good news is I found my dash light problem....stupid dimmer switch....you'd think the thing could last 14 years
