Supercharging My 2003 Mustang V6

I want to supercharge my 2003 Mustang V6 but i dont know what i would need other then a supercharger. I would also like to know were i might be able to buy one that is under $300 or so and everthing else that i might need.
I would really like to supercharge my mustang, i know its possible but i dont know how and were i can purchase anything at a good price even if its used.

****I dont know much about supercharges as you can see, but if you willing to share some knowledge that you might have about them i would appreciate it.****

Don't think that you will be able to find a used one for under $300. If you look at what these kits go for new you can figure that no one will let a used one go for $300. unless it is very broken

Well actually i did find a supercharger perfect for my mustang, 3.8 Ford Supercharger just about everything i need for $200, but i didnt know if i needed anything else.

JUST buff that up a bit and bolt it on! easy couple hour job, big gaines brah!

Hmmmmmmm. don't see the lower intake manifold that the supercharger bolts to, don't see the rest of the intake plumbing into and out of the supercharger and intercooler that went with those pieces from the factory, don't see the fuel rail that must be used with that set up.....................want me to go on? Want to guess how much more you will have to spend to make it work? It will turn out to be much more than $200.00 to make it work.

I know i called the guy and talked, im not getting it so dont worry about going on . it would be like an extra 4k to get it going but thanks anyways

you know my end goal is to keep my v6 but supercharge it but over alot of talking and research its not possible to keep the original motor for the car and super charge it with out eventually blowing it up because the motor isn't built for that much pressure and eventually wheather it be a rod, cylinder, piston or gasket something will give from the new force of the supercharger and then you'll need a whole new motor. so what you need to look for is a motor that was built for a supercharger and then use it in place of yours. an eventually ill do the same in finding a ford factory supercharged motor but for now i just need to save until i can even think about looking at those prices

Yeah i already told the guy no for the supercharger, i just wasnt going to have the time to get it installed because of work, school, etc plus god only knows were their is a place near me that would install it without ripping me off. So im just going to go the old fashion way and do; cold air intake, throttle body spacer, exhaust (of course) and things like that. Then maybe one day we will see what happens..

Not to mention adding a supercharger to a car isn't just a simple bolt on. Least of all you'd need to do is recalibrate the PCM for your car so it knows how to handle and work with a supercharger, there's a good chance you'd have to run premium gas, unless you tune it so it doesn't require that, it'd be a good idea to have supporting mods to avoid any potential KR inside the engine also

Old fashioned way works too, putting a new exhaust on a car is fun for the first time. Makes the car sound different and makes you feel a little faster, but at the end of the day, it's still a sub 200HP V6, makes for a good boat anchor, that's about it.
