I am looking to do a complete suspension rebuild. I have been looking at many different types of kits. Just wanted to know what the boys are running on there cars and how they like the product. I would love for the car to ride and handle like a new mustang. I am looking for a quality kit. Any recommendations would be great.

The search button is your friend. This has been talked about many times.

I rebuilt my 1968 front end with mostly "stock" replacment parts and it handles like a brand new 1968 Mustang right off the assembly line.

Do you mean like a 2005 mustang? not going to happen (well maybe with a BIG budget and a lot of engineering). 40 years of suspension development has improved things.
Do you mean like when your car was new? Go with a stock suspension rebuild with rubber replacement parts. Many good vendors, Laurel Mountain mustang is one.
Some where inbetween? The list is end less.

Roller spring perch and roller idler arm make a HUGE difference. The Shelby drop with quality coil springs and strut rods from Street or track also help. A larger front sway bar, Monte Carlo Bar and Export Brace and gas shocks are also good ideas. And like Robert Duvall said in Days of Thunder "Tires! Tires, Cole are what wins races". Running around on 14" rims with the cheapest tires available isn't going to help you keep up with an '05 Mustang on 18" rims.

if you want the car to ride and handle like a new 1968 mustang, then you just need to replace the bushings and springs with new ones, along with shocks, and your done. if onthe other hand you mean you want your car to handle and ride like a 2005 stang, you have your work cut out for you, and you need a bunch of money. the easist way would be to contact air ride suspensions and get their complete ari ride suspension kit for your stang(about $6000 for the complete kit) and install that. your biggest ride and handling improvement is going to come from redesigning the rear suspension for better suspension compliance, and to take advantage of modern radial tires.
