I am finally going to order my suspension. So what is the question. I can not really afford both the springs and struts at this time, as I need new rubber too.

So is it that much easier to do them at the same time or just as easy to do them both seperatly, minus the cost of re-allignment.

I am going with the Bilstein HDs and the H&R Sports.

Thanks in advance

do them together. nice combo btw. the struts are fairly easy, with a lift i can have the fronts done in about 30mins.

Yeah ... You would probably want to install them both at the same time. Why not go ahead and order one or ther other and just let them sit until you get enough $ ... That's what I did whenver I bought my shocks/springs.

BUT if you were determined to do one first .. putting the springs on would be the best idea. That way, you can trash your stock shocks faster and have an excuse to buy the new ones

And also, springs require a little more work (not that it's very difficult) ... so springs would be first IMO (if you don't wait to install them together). Shocks are simple.

Actually the struts are shot to hell already. I am tired of my stang sittin in the driveway so as I need tires too I was going the strut first route cause they definatly are effecting tire wear. But I am just thinking of biting the bullet and ordering both. That way I only get under the thing once. Hell it is only 225 more.

If your struts are already shot, get the Bilsteins first (~$600 for both struts and shocks) (I think Struts are around $400 and shocks are around $200) then get your H&Rs... Better to not have to do the install twice but do what money permits. Sports alone, I wouldn't think C/C plates but if you went for SuperSports, definitely go with the C/C plates. And only get the best you can afford in all situations.

See my sig for my total H&R SS, Bilsteins and MM C/C plates...
