springs rarely ever have a problem that would need to be replaced. i would look at your shocks before the springs.

The reason i was looking at the springs is because the driver side sits lower than the passenger side by about 6 inches.

6 inches!
could you have lowering springs on one side and stocks on the other?
whats the gap on the lowered side?
your gonna have to get under there to really find out for sure, before buying parts.

my bad not 6 inches, i meant .5 inch. The lower side is 2 inches from the top of the tire to the fender. The other side is 2.5 inches measured the same way.

Where are the spring isolators at? How do you check them?

in front, there is a rubber hat on top of the spring,on bottom there is a rubber sleave that slips on the last coil of the spring.
in rear there is a rubber hat on the bottom of the spring, between it and the lower control arm.
i cant remember of there is one on the top.
the only way i can think of to check,is to pull the wheels and look.

also, the springs may not be seated correctly.
in front, there is a notch in the spring pocket of the control arm.
the end of the bottom of the coil should be in the notch.
for the rear,i cant remember what direction the bottom of the coil should be pointing, sorry.

Could be a bad install in that PO or installer didn't let the car down before tightening the bolts.

I'm with davis3--probably a case of springs not seated properly.

Is the problem primarily in the front, or rear, or both?

If it's primarily front or rear that's different, jack up the tall side and let the suspension fully droop. You should be able to see the tail of the spring on the bottom, and see if it's fully seated in the pocket of the LCA. If it's not, depending on the amount of drop your car has, you might be able to move it without a spring compressor and a full removal.

If it's both, do you have some way of getting the car up, but with the weight still on the tires? That way you could measure the compressed spring height on each side and compare, to try to further troubleshoot.

Got pictures?

Apparently my ex-husband made that mistake.

The bushing on the control arm wore out, and it's sagging. Happens all the time. You need to change the front bushings on the control arms, but the more excepted method is to upgrade to a better set of control arms while you have them out. Improperly seated springs, or bad spring isolators rarely cause 1/2 an inch of difference.
