SVO coil springs on a LX?

I'm turning my 91 into an SVO. I need some springs and was wondering if SVO grade springs would work with an 87-93 LX. I went to rockauto.com and found that the rear springs for a 1986 SVO is the same as a 1991 2.3 LX, but the fronts are different. The reason I didn't just go to Eibach or Ford Racing etc. for springs is because I'm a bit nervous to lower the car because I've got 17X8 wheels with 235/45R17 tires and am having rubbing issues as is. I wanted the sportier springs like SVO's but without lowering if possible. Here's the specs on LX and SVO front springs.
LX: Inner Diameter- 3.5" SVO: Same exept the free height is 15.13"
Wire Diameter- .625"
Free Height- 14.71"
Load Height- 11"

My 91 has a Steeda 5-lug conversion so it has 5.0 spec spindles and struts. Should I get the SVO replacement springs for my 91 LX?
