SVTOA FALL THUNDER IN THE SOUTHWEST! OCTOBER 1-3, 2004
MARK YOUR CALENDARS! The Central Region On-Track Event is rapidly approaching! October 1, 2 & 3 at Texas World Speedway. Friday is registration and meet 'n greet. Saturday and Sunday are on-track! Saturday night BBQ dinner. The SVT/Team Ford Racing Trailer will be there - lots of merchandise!
Events include open-track, auto-x, skid pad, braking exercises, etc. This is open to all Ford-powered and Ford-family vehicles.
Technical Info: SVTOA in car instructors. SA95 or SA00 helmet REQUIRED. If needed, loaner helmets will be available at the track. Convertibles can run on the track, no roll bar required, however, tops must be up.

SVTOA ON-TRACK EVENTS - WHAT ARE THEY?
There's NO doubt that SVT vehicles are outstanding performers - but, what about YOUR abilities and skills as a driver? SVTOA On Track events are "performance driving clinics" designed to help you develop your skills as a driver, both on the track and on the street. And it's not ALL about speed...
Precision, smoothness, vehicle balance, and awareness are key elements when it comes to improving your skills as a driver. Men and women...young or old, you can always improve your skills behind the wheel... and have a GREAT time doing it!
Don't worry if you're a "rookie"... every one of us was a beginner at one time! Our On Track programs are designed for the first-timers or "novices" as well as the seasoned "track dogs"! You learn at your own pace and our INCREDIBLE crew of performance driving coaches are there to help you every step of the way. As a SVT or Ford Family vehicle owner, and a member of SVTOA, you owe it to yourself to attend one of these AWESOME events.
SVTOA ON-TRACK REGISTRATION - FEES THROUGH SEPTEMBER 10th:
SVTOA members: $250 ($275 after September 10th))
Non-SVTOA members: $290 ($315 after September 10th; includes 1 year SVTOA membership)
Family Teams*: $300 ($325 after September 10th)
Above registration fees include two track days and dinner on Saturday night. Registration fee for non-SVTOA members includes a 1-year SVTOA National membership.
Single track day: $150 (does not include Sat. dinner; $160 after September 10th)
Saturday dinner only: $10
Official SVTOA On-Track T-Shirts: $15
Spectators: Free
*Family Team: Two people sharing a car and in the same run group/on track session. Cost is $300 and includes two dinner tickets. After Sept 10th, cost is $325 for a Family Team. If two people want to share a car and run in different run groups, the cost is $250 per person.
