When I'm WOT and my car shifts out of first gear I always hear this sweak my car is 99 gt Auto (4r70w) does anybody have any idea the hell this is. Its coming from the front end under the hood.
could be the tensioner how many miles on the car? also on crown vics that have a lot more power than stock they will chirp the belt when the trans shifts.
belt lube is a waste of time, ive never seen it work. look at your pulleys and see if there is any rust on them. also the tensioner generally goes out at about 80k miles.
