Journal turbo failed and switched to a oilless watercooled dbb and need a retune, the shop that tuned it is giving me the run around, maybe I can get some help here.

89 notch on3 kit with vs racing 6870 oilless bb turbo, on microsquirt, lu47 injectors, 255lph.

So, how exactly is it running that's not right?

Describe the symptoms and the maintenance that was done with the turbo swap.

Do you also have a data log from the last time you tried to run it?

Also: Looks like you're running speed density, is that correct? What MAP sensor are you running? 3 bar? More?

Yes, I'm running speed density, gm 3 bar sensor, running about 13lbs of boost.
It's not that it's running bad, I'm running on the Tuner's original tune, but I went from journal bearing 6262 turbo to a 6870 ball bearing turbo, bigger turbo and from my understanding the bb turbo spools up faster, I want to make sure that is not running to rich or to lean because of the new boost profile.

The attached file is from today

You don't have anything to worry about. Just run it.

You're running SD, if the turbo spools up faster then fuel will get supplied faster. That's the whole purpose of the tune. It doesn't care what name is on your turbo. All it cares about is matching fuel to amount of air being displaced in the manifold.

Monitor your AFR and drive it like you stole it.

No worries.

The cost is posting images and video of your car. :nice:

We'll then turn this into your progress thread. When/if you have issues, you can post it here and continue to add information to this thread about the car/issues.
