My brother just bought a car with 58,000 miles on it. Is it OK to start using Synthetic with that mileage if the car didn't use synthetic for the 1st 58k miles?

I had a S-10 I got at 62k miles, I started using synthetic, I noticed a vast improvement, not sure on how OK it is or not, but it did help me. Transmission fell out of it about a year later, so byebye but yeah the oil didnt make that happen

I switched to synthetic at 65000 miles and no problem..... I also noticed that the engine ran alot smoother after the switch.... Go for it man!
