Yeah, thats true. But you should still change your oil after the first thousand miles on the motor cause its during this period the motor gets broke in and there's a fair amount of metal that is shed into the oil at this time. I wish I had done this instead of waiting till 3k miles to change my oil for the first time. Oh well.sabrooks said:I read that you should not use syn oil until your car is at 5k.
