I searched, but couldn't find what I'm looking for. On the top of the tranny on the passenger side right below where the shifter mounts and above the FILL plug there is a rubber grommet type thing that just plugs into the side of the tranny. What is it and what is it for? Fluid leaks out of mine. I want to take it out and smear it up with RTV and put it back in to seal it up. Is it some type of pressure valve that's supposed to be loose or what? Thanks for your thoughts.

If the fuild is higher than the fill plug, then its over filled.
