I just got my world class T5 rebuild kit and was starting the rebuild. The blocker rings with the new kit look like they have some sort or felt insert. The old blocker rings have nothing. Is this right?

Did you get carbon fiber blocker rings?

How worn at the old blocker rings?

Is it felt..or more like a paper lining?

It looks like they are carbon fiber outer blocker rings. The original outer blocker rings do not have anything at all on them.

I've got the picture, can't figure out how to post it. What is the easiest way?

if the trans is a non world class the blocking rings will be brass and gold in color.
World class trans use felt on the blocking rings to ease shifting, its very possible that your trans is just that worn out that felt is no longer there
