Well i think the t5 in my 95 gt needs rebuilt and i plan on doing it myself. I am going to get a good quality rebuild kit and the video. I was wondering exactly what tools will be needed. I am getting jack stands of course as i will use them often. Will i need a press and/or gear puller. I was thinking of getting the cheap 12 ton a frame hydraulic press from harbor freight if i need one. I could not find much info on the tools needed. What else is needed? I am just trying to get a heads up on everything that i will need before i get the kit and take the tranny out so i do not have much down time. Thanks guys.

Need to rebuild your t5 too huh? I am putting a new cable and quadrant on before most likely and that may fix it although i doubt it. I am hoping the rebuild will go smoothly and i wont be too much of this

hehe, yeah--mine grinds hardcore...i can feel it in the floorpan! i'm going w/ the d&d kit-->$190.

i highly recommend the UPR 3-hook quadrant and extreme firewall adjuster--love this set-up!

the only gear that i have problems with is 2nd when i downshift or try to upshift quickly while hotrodding. I will pry go with d&d, hanlon or one of them. i think im gonna get the fiore quadrant and micro click firewall adjuster. supposed to be a nice piece. i keep checking places looking for a used tko 500 or 600 or tremec 3550 just incase i find a good deal on one.
