tail light weatherstrip rubber?

Does anyone know where I can get the weatherstrip rubber pieces for the tail lights that go around each section of the bulbs? They pretty much reproduce everything for the tail lights but i can't seem to find the weatherstrip pieces. anyone know?

You mean on the inside which seals the lens to the housing?

It's called "Butyl Tape" and available at most parts stores

I dont think ive ever seen anyone selling those, not yet at least. how bad are the ones you have?

the ones i have aren't too bad but i bought tail lights off a guy and they didn't have any on them. so just wondering if anyone knew where i could find these things. i guess the only option is the junkyard which barely has any fox parts no a days. oh well! but thanks guys for your reply's!

I think it's part of the housing. Which means you need to get them off another housing.

My 88 housing gasket is defentialy not the same material.

If you cant find the gaskets....
Like Mike said I think thick Butyl tape would OK for that.

there is some stuff we have at work called backer rod, its like foam rope used to stuff into cracks in concrete before you fill them, i wonder if you could slit that and fasten it to hte housing?

interesting. looks like it's pretty cheap online. this could be a possible solution. thanks for the option!

you should be able to get that stuff at any home improvement center, i know its less that a buck a foot, probably way less.
