Tail lights?

I was thinking about doing a 96-98 swap myself, but for the stock lights.. i havent seen any aftermarket tails i like.. personal opinion if you dont mind the tuner/ricer look then go for it

No offense, but on those taillights. The rest of the car looks really nice . Definitely changed my mind on those lights. I still think the carbon fiber one's might look good. Off to google to see if I can find a pic

On a rio red or laser red cars, I'd keep the stock ones just because they blend in a little better. The only taillight mod I like is one that makes them hide -- when they stick out I think

I once pulled up to a guy in a teal GT that had the 96-98 split spoke wheels and the tails. I looked at the straight rocker panel and the GT MUSTANG badge and knew it was more than likely a 94. So I told the guy, "Thats a nice 94 GT" He looked at me funny and said, "It WAS a 94, but I upgraded it to 96 GT specs." WTF?

KEEP the stock. Put that VHT shade stuff if it can make you feel better about them

Your car is so sharp but those tails kill the look IMO. It would look so much better with the lenses red and the bezels black.

I want to go with stock 96-98 tails and paint them to match. They match the LED'd wing on my cobra better than the stockers. The sequential lights are another added reason I want them.
As for any of those others I'd have to say nahh.

I know i used to like them for some reason. Now for the last couple weeks i think they look horrible,i ordered OEM 96-98 lights and they should be here this week. Im going to keep the bezel red though so everything is red.

Again, if it's YOUR car, YOU do what YOU want, but Im still trying to figure out WHY people want to change to those lights.???

When Im driving, and I look at a stang going by the other way quickly...first thing I look at to tell what it is are the back lights.

I just dont get it!

I love confusing people when they see my car. I change up all kinds of stuff all the time. I am running my OEM hood for the last couple of days and the S351 spoiler. I also like my sequential lights that go well with my signal mirrors. The sequentials don't work in the 94 tails.

The sequential taillights look better on the 96-98 taillights I think, thats WHY i got them. But clear is ugly.

Well clear taillights are definitely out. They don't look too bad on Blackgtmustang's car, but decided I don't like them on red. Im still not sure about the carbon fiber ones tho. Time for new choices:
CF 96+ tails(number 2 from my first post)
stock 96+ tails
stock 95 tails
or nightshades on stock 95 tails

I don't think I would like the nightshades on the 96+ tails. Anyways, let me know which you think would look best on my car. Here's what it looks like now.

I photoshopped that a long time ago and didn't really like it. But that was when my car was stock, it might look better now. I think the smoked taillights and black Saleen covers might be TOO much black. Anybody wanna give it a try since I dont have photoshop installed on this computer?
