I don't understand why someone would remove the spoiler yet want to put on a fake hood scoop?!?

The spoiler defines the rear end, without it it looks like a Camry or something, and it's called a spoiler for a reason - lift at the rear is reduced by its presence. (cue indignant armchair aerodynamics experts...)

The fake hood scoop just looks silly, increases drag, and is no different than a Civic owner sticking on a Pep Boys hood scoop. IMHO

Just make sure you secure the chin spoiler good with machanical fastners(etc. nut & bolt) they gave me three? Three. push fastners to put it on with? Had to get 3/4" allen socket cap screws an rubber coated washers & nuts an drill each hole!! ? an make sure lined up an even? was always those hidden additional things that make it difficult? An just take buffer an buff spots under where you took your wing off an might beable to cleanup?

+1 superstang46 on staggered look have been waiting on my 10.5 rims to be shipped to me? a week an waiting? com'on man!

I'm kinda confused whether or not you're talking about the front or rear spoiler...seems that you bounced in between both...
however, with the front, I wouldn't use anything but the push fasteners...if you didn't get enough, go to the auto parts store and spend a couple dollars on a bag of em. Attaching it with nuts and bolts just begs for the spoiler to get caught on something and rip larger holes/slots in your bumper. The push pins allow some give but it certainly won't come off easily.

you think the stock spoiler at speeds less than 80mph does anything significant?

its not like its adjustable so you can tune it for auto-x or anything.

if i am wrong i stand corrected but....

No, no, no -it's the 2010 rear end that looks like a Camry...

Do you really think that spoiler provides any useful downforce? It's purely there for style...

You can't just rip the hood scoop off like the spoiler...and is no comparison to "a Civic owner sticking on a Pep Boys hood scoop." At least the Mustang scoop is OEM.

If it were me, I'd replace the SIDE scoops first...with bullitt scoops (more or less scoop deletes )

? seemed to flimsy with push fastners? didn't want to get back home an find i'm missing chin spoiler somewhere along the way?

I started in the front an worked my way to the rear? No was sayin about the "CHIN SPOILER" in the front? Just make sure secured good? yeah at 160mph might come off?
Now the rear spoiler? just buff out the scratches from the wing rubbing? worth a try?

if it werent for the photoshop, you wouldnt be focusing on the emblems i can assure you!

ask the original owner at least its not a TypeR badge which is why ive let it slide.

are the emblems on the fenders put on by ford glued? i ask because i felt around one day and thought i felt two studs through the fender...indicating theyre both bolted down :/

i know the emblem on the trunk lid is glued..idk why they would change it for the fender..

The stock ones will have a hole behind them. I am unsure of the ones that were added on. I would guess the PO just used the ones for a trunklid and they are glues on. You still have the pony going down the side?

that should be changing within the next several days

if both are bolted on, the emblems are staying where they are unfortunately; which is what ive assumed to be the case all along

The spoiler doesn't provide downforce, it's a SPOILER. It reduces lift and drag. Any kind of airfoil that generates lift causes drag. Lift = drag. A spoiler breaks up the airflow so it doesn't cause lift, and as a result it reduces drag. You can look at it and see it isn't a very efficient wing, which is why it works. Counterintuitively.

The hoodscoop and side scoops on a GT are fake. Fake. Fake. Minimizing their appearance is my preference. They just cause drag, and they are fake. Fake as in "present only for styling." A factory hood scoop on a Mustang GT is the same as a stick-on hood scoop on a Civic, "present only for styling." I'm not gonna say it doesn't look cool on a Mustang, but that doesn't change the fact that it is fake. And my car still has the one that came on it

Still say it looks sick without the wing. Never understood moving the wing back Just get some fat rims/tires in the back and it'll look even better. All in all, it's your car so it doesn't really matter what a bunch of strange doods say online

Why dont you just go ahead and put some v6 wheels on there too? Then it will complete the awesome new look. Hey it could be worse! 94/98's look like GEN I probes when they are wingless.
