The Beater

Figured I would post a few pictures of my pride and joy. It's been a long ride. Started out life as a Strawberry beater with a 4 banger. Alot of you dont like that, but I wanted one that had not been beat on. I have too much time, too much money, and too many busted knuckles invested. I have done everything I could to the car, from engine bay to stud girdle. Going to pull the mota when it gets cool outside, smooth and spray the cradle. Built the car as a kind of a tribute. I always rode bikes. Me and Friend were gonna build one when we got too old to ride. I made it out, Kris didn't. So here's pics of our Car. Oh, I know the rims aren't some of yall's thing. Thats cool. Theres a set of 15's with some slicks Santa's bringing, then theres the old Cobra's.....
The front looks a different color....it isn't. Just that PPG (piss poor gloss) I guess. Lulz.

Thanks Fellas. It's a little stock block, .40 over, knifed crank, Mahle dished slugs, Blue racer 1083 bumpstick, GT 40 P's with some funny blue things in there, FRPP Shorties, Edelbrock performer intake, 42 lb squirters, Little Novi, SCT 2600, Melling HVOP, Bunch of MSD stuff, frst gen TKO with a leeeeetle work, FRPP aluminum stick, 8.8 out of an old 4 banger T Bird, lots of braces and girdles and big brake rotors with GI Joe stamped on them. Just your usual stuff. On the break in tune she put 404/404 on the rollers. She's still pig rich but plenty of fun. Especially with the shiny wheels. Great for Halloween parties.

It's a Momo, but I cant remember the name. It had a bunch of silver trim on it and was horrible. Little bit of grit, water borne, trim black and there she is. The older cats around here told me it was rice. I'll find out the model name and shoot you a PM. Feels great.
Oh yeah, the headlights came from LateModel, I think. If you drive at night, fuhgettaboutit. Of course, the 35% all the way down the windshield may hinder it some.....
Last but not least, I did have it up for sale. Got in a bind for a second. Best offer I got was "9 cash and you keep the wheels". It will sit in my garage and rot for 9K.

HOLY CRAP!!! T*TS!!!! Looks super good with the chrome wheels but really diggin the look with the cobra's!

Sickness, man. Sickness. I like the big wheels, its definitely different, in a sea full of cars with late model Mustang OE wheels (mine included).

Another half fast picture, but you can almost see the depth of paint. Lots and lots of clear. Too much paint for a weekend track car, huh?

Love your car, but I think it looked alot cleaner with the Cobra's I'm a sucker for those wheels on foxes. Either way your car is gorgeous!
