And it looks like only Ford is going to do justice to their classic muscle car.

Pics are in the following thread. Gotta say judging by the reaction of these guys and a few other boards Dodge might have an 04 GTO on their hands. I.E. car with a ton of potential, crazy fast but ultimately will piss most of their base fans off BIG time.

It looks like a lot of the Mopar guys on that thread are saying "Now that I saw the piece of crap Dodge is going to build, I think I'm going to buy an 05 Mustang." Welcome all the Mopars to Fordville everyone!!!

But only if they are over 19. Otherwise they will think the mustang is outdated.

I thikn it is way ahead of the 04 GTO. The flat black "hemi" logo by the rear is really cool, as well as on the hood. But yeah, the styling is way too tame, its a shame dodge has f'ed this one up so bad.

Are they for real, a 4 door Charger.
This is what happens when foreigners own an American company.

4 doors? How can they call it a muscle car if it's got 4 doors?

Actually GM just f'd up the GTO. Chrysler f'd up the Charger. Bo & Luke must be turning over in there graves (and there not even dead yet)!

That's Daimler-Chrysler. 2 years ago I thought Dodge had a winner with the Charger R/T concept car:
http://www.acarshow.com/chgcpt.html

The Chrysler 300 is a runaway success (at least here in SoCal). So I know DMC has someone in charge willing to take a chance with some style in a 4-door.

Other Dodge vehicles have solid performance AND style... Viper, Ram SRT-10, Neon SRT-4, Magnum Hemi. But I guess they (probably the Germans) didn't want to take a chance with the Charger. And that's a shame. No guts, no glory.

I don't care about a high dollar Charger anyway. I want to see a low-buck Super Bee type car based on this LX platform that can compete with the Mustang GT in terms of price.

Haha, I don't even think that's it. I still have respect for Dodge, but if they actually release that, they've lost it. Anyway, I love to see all the people there who like the Mustang better .

I like it a lot. It looks like it belongs in the same parking lot as the 05 mustang to me.
