That's right. The 5.0 is IN the Mustang!

No, the engine isn't painted and won't be at first. As soon as I get everything running properly and it's reliable to drive, I am pulling the enigne and rebuilding it. I will also pretty it up a little with some Ford blue paint (like the timing chain cover) and some Trick Flow valve covers.

But, I've already ran into a few problems. First, I don't know how I am going to rig up an air intake system, the CAI I have now rubs the shock tower too much and you have to force it on very hard to clamp it to the throttle body. The MAF connector is also too close to the inner fender.
I also don't know where I am going to find shock tower braces to clear the Trick Flow intake (it's huge).
I did discover that the shifters location is going to be nearly perfect. I was testing it out a little and getting the feel of it. I am using the sock 1994 shifter and it's an arms reach to it, but I don't have to lean forward and it's still pretty comfy.

looks good...getting the motor in is the easy part. Hooking it all up...well...it depends. Any news on the wiring harness?

No news on the harness yet. We are working on 4 weeks with no info so far!

I might send him an e-mail and tell him to stick his wiring harness straight up his ass and take my money back via the credit card company. Then, get the harness off of a Fox body and modify it to work.

I would move the soleniod to the bottom.

Also those 30's are too big of an injector.

Other than that looks good.

mustangs plus has a swap crossbrace that is both a montecarlo bar and an export brace in one that clears the efi intakes.

i beleive the mustangs plus shock tower brace is made by maier racing. also as far as the air intake take the piece you ahve to a mufler shop and get them to bend you a piece of aluminized exhaust pipe the proper size with a little more cusrve to it and they can also weld up the nipple for breather at the same time. heck of a lot cheaper than buying an aftermarket piece for a 150-200 bucks, plus you can paint it or powder coat whatever color you want it

Fostang, I know the 30s are too large, the reason he had them on the engine is because he was going to make a 347. I will not be any time soon, and am trying to get his stock injectors off of him for the time being.
Will the MustangsPlus braces clear the trick flow intake? It's an inch or two wider than stock.

I also found this on the MustangsPlus website.

Will I need it since I'm using a 94-95 intake? I thought the TPS connectors were the same on the Foxes and SN95s, amd I wrong?
