Come join cars of all makes/models for a cruise throughout Connecticut and the chance to win some big CASH prizes and maybe even a few surprises!
THIS IS NOT A RACE!!! We cannot stress that enough. There is no prize for finishing the quickest except for maybe a ticket from the CSP who will be informed of our route.
The concept is simple :
- Stop at pre-determined locations along the route and check out the shops of our sponsors. They will give you a brief tour of their facilities and what they can offer you in terms of service.
- When you leave, you'll choose a sealed envelope from that stop - DO NOT OPEN IT.
- Proceed to all remaining stops and get envelopes at each stop.
- When you return to the start, a staff member will open all of your envelopes to reveal your poker hand - best hand wins! (Ties will be broken by suit).
That's it!
Coffee/donuts will be provided for all particpants in the morning along with a BBQ lunch/dinner when you return to the start consisting of BBQ pork sandwiches, corn on the cob, beans, salads, etc and drinks.
Passengers are welcomed/encouraged to enjoy the ride, however the poker cards are for drivers only.
Our charity for the day will be the Connecticut State Police Scholarship Fund - we hope you will join us for the day and support this worthy charity!
