So Im finally gonna get some tint on my Mach soon, but I cant decide what to go with. I know I want tint all the way around, except the windsheild, but I cant figure out how dark I want it. Even though its illegal to tint your front/side windows in California, I still want to get some tint on the sides, just not so dark that Im gonna get f**ked with.

What do you guys suggest, just getting a mild tint all the way around, or getting the rear windows darker?

I like 15% myself all the way around, 5% is way too dark at night making it harder to drive.

5% on the back (limo) and 20% on the fronts...you'll wanna have your windows down when backing up at night , but it looks amazing...

Yes, i have 5% back and quarter windows and about 20% sides. Backing up at night does suck, use ur side views. But that pales in comparison to the benifits of having no headlight glare from ur rear view at night from cars behind you and them illuminating ur whole car. Also it keeps ur car cooler when hot which is nice with leather. And EPIK i know u have that mach black/dark grey leather interior

Thank u for the suggestions,& everybody else...Im still undecided 4 the moment. I dont think I wanna go 5% in the rear though, but maybe a 15% rear & 25% or 35% front. Ill have to think about for a little while. Oh & Chris, & SRThandz, the Laser red Stangs are lookin sick, & Erik, Sonic Blue is my favorite Stang color besides Chrome yellow....

Just my two cents but I would go dark out back and light on the sides so the cops don't mess with ya to much. That car is beautiful. I would love to have a mach hood and scoop on my 02 gt.

Very nice ride man.

Thank u...Im just not that fond of the drastic difference of having real dark in the back, & then light on the sides, thats why I would just rather do a medium tint all the way around.

thanks erik, Glad you like....Lazer Red FTW

I like my medium and limo set up because it can hide but in the day it looks not took dark. Cops have NEVER bothered me for my tint because with medium they can still see you...but at night it hided and cant see anything. It all depends on the amount of light in the car.

Get only limo on the quarter and rear....it look like **** if its not BLACK on the rear and quarters.

SRT, your Laser red has held up extremely well, u must garage that thing. Most SN95 Laser red cars dont look that shiny after 10 years of sun....Your tint looks pretty sweet 2....Have you gotten pulled over for the sides @ all? I just wish u would make your pics a little smaller...LOL

^^ definetly does depend on the amount of light in the car I also have 5 on rear and quarters and 20 on side. Dark during the day but not ridiculus (I though it was very dark at first but have gotten use to it) and at night its prety damn dark. If someone was up next to me at night they won't be able to see me for sure.

Not trying to hijack this but what did everyone do about the rubber bumps, did you guys just tint over it or did the guy cut the tint before. That top line in the rear looks ****ty on mine because of the tint over the raised dots. Im probably just getting a black banner decal to cover it.

Just have a tint shop remove the tint on that part & install a black vinyl strip on the inside over it. If you have dark tint, u cant even tell its there from the outside....
