The new SFI Approved Balancer....Pics

Just got it yesterday, 175 bucks after buying the spacer. Really nice quality, this changes my opinion on professional products.

that looks pretty nice..is that one of those kind you can replace the ring for a different balance??

it has a removable counter weight in the back, so you can switch weights. BUt I think that is all that is removable unless those rivet looking like things can be taken off.

Where did you get it? You mentioned a spacer? Do you need one for the balancer?

Also, what water pump are you running? I've heard of clearance problems with some SFI balancers and water pumps like the Edelbrock...

Looks nice!

I ordered it from my work, Towers and Harwood Performance, you need the spacer if you want to keep your stock pulley location. It is only 17.95, that plus the balancer (150 somthin) came to 175 even. Also, I am running a stock reman'ed water pump from oreilys.

You can talk to the guy at 1-785-537-4100... he is VERY knowlegable on carbed 302's, builds them all the time, he would know anything, little iffy on the EFI, but if you need parts, I would try him first.

just don't get brake/parts cleaner on the blue part. that stuff will take it right of.

i've got the same balancer and it's a nice piece.people will fuss about it being chinese but i don't have aproblem with it or my typhoon intake.

Thanks...I think I might go with the Pioneer instead. It requires no spacer and is about the same cost.
