I used to think my dad was the worst person alive with a video camera: I stand corrected! Lotsa shots of the sky, trees, dashboard,etc.... Sounded great but I nominate it for the worst video ever posted on the internet, or possibly "how to waste 28 min. downloading a video that makes you dizzy".

Yes, the camera man should be shot.

I learned a lot form making this video. You just can't throw together a bunch of random clips and have it look right. The next time I am going to have to plan the whole event out, not just have a camer and shoot whatever.

This will be a good comparison for the next time out. Hopefully, I will have learned from my mistakes.

love the car, hate the video (some really good things inside, don't get me wrong but the camera man has to be shot)

It wasn't you, was it?

I used a regular tripod held down with sand bags. The front foot was on the tunnel and the other two went on the floor behind the front seats. Granted I wasn't going half as fast....

I concur with the quality...luckily it didn't take long to download [fast broadband!].

...eagerly awaiting the sequel...

Yes, I was the camera man. Yes, I suck. Yes, I should be shot.

I am new to this whole video thing. It is a LOT different than taking "still" shots.

I promise to do better next time.

The in-car stuff will be easy, pull the passenger seat and make a mount for the camera that bolts to this location. We have made mounts for rollbars to mount cameras to before and the vibrations haven't been too bad. But this is drag racing and not road racing. 2bav8 has probably mounted something before.

The outside shots, you just need a tripod and get used to sweeping back and forth gently.
