Has anyone had any experience painting headers with ThermoTec paint?
My headers were originally chrome, but are a few years old now and most of the chrome seems to have tarnished to the point that you can't tell that they were originally chrome. The only remaining chrome parts are the ends of the collectors where they join the exhaust and the flange which joins the block. I was thinking about spraying them with some ThermoTec paint to dress them up a bit. I have two questions.
1. Does anyone thing that the paint will adhere to the remaining chrome?
2. Has anyone used this paint, how long does it last, does it discolor fast and flake off after a couple of weeks?
